DeNami Product Spotlight: Large Butterfly

Don't you love the Product Spotlights on the DeNami Blog?  SO fun to see the same stamp used so differently by my fellow Design Team Ladies.  This time we are using the new Large Butterfly cling stamp.  This stamp is 10% off for one week --- so drop it into your shopping cart quick.

Yep, I scrapbooked! I really wanted to show how this gorgeous stamp could be used on a scrapbook page.  My photo of my daughter is 5x7 and the page is 8 1/2 x 11.  I started with a green base layer.  I stamped the butterfly using Lime Versacolor onto a turquoise cardstock piece, layered onto orange cardstock and stitched.  I stamped the butterfly again using Versafine Black onto Orange cardstock, yellow dots, and pink patterned paper.  Added some turquoise rhinestones.  Can you see the other DeNami stamp I used... it's hidden.  I used a new cling set... the basic borders set was stamped using Cherry Pink Impress onto white... I handwrote my journaling inside of the dots.  LOVING the new twine DeNami is carrying. So fun!

DeNami Ravishing Ribbons Blog Hop

Welcome to the April DeNami Blog Hop: Ravishing Ribbons.
You should be arriving from Tenia's Blog.. if not, start at the beginning.

I love ribbon, so easy to tie a pretty bow on a card.  Adds color, texture, and a little fun.  I wanted to do something different for the blog hop.  I created a ribbon background.  I used a scallop border punch on the card edge.  I used Versafine Sepia ink with a leaf image from the Ornamental Flowers Set on the cream ribbon.  I stamped a few flowers to embellish my sentiment .  I used ATG tape to cover the front of the card and made it all sticky.  It was easy to layer the ribbon onto the card front, just trim off the excess.
Thanks for stopping by.  Your next stop on the hop is to visit Nicki.

Product Spotlight: Happy Mother's Day

DeNami Product Spotlight: Happy Mother's Day
This stamp is 10% off for one week.

I love sentiment stamps, and this one is no different.  I have a very special mom, and a few grandma's too!  Mother's Day is only a month away -- so start stamping when you get time!
I used ALL new Cling stamps on this card.  I adore the new cling stamps... so easy to see where I am stamping, and takes up less space in my craft room too!!
I stamped the circle scallop in Lime Versacolor onto white cardstock.  Inside of each circle I added a flower from the spring flowers set.  The Happy Mothers Day sentiment was stamped in Black onto Lime cardstock.  I added 1 butterfly from the Fancy Flutters Stamp set.  Extra fine glitter was added to the wings of the butterfly using the quickie glue pen. Colored with copics.
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you visit the DeNami Blog. As always, my fellow Design Team Members have used this sentiment on all sorts of cards.

DeNami Shaker Card Photo Tutorial

Do you make shaker cards?  I used to make them 12-15 years ago, but I haven't made one in ages!  If you visit the DeNami Blog I've made a photo tutorial for you... it's super simple!  I used extra fine glitter for my sample, fun way to make sparkly sand.  It also makes for some fabulous sparkly snow.  Let me know if you get a chance to make a shaker card... I'd love to see what you create!!!

DeNami Theme Challenge: One Layer Cards

Welcome to the DeNami Theme Challenge: One Layer Cards!
Such a fun challenge, you know everyone will have a unique take on this one.  Make sure to visit the DeNami Blog and visit my fellow Design Team girls blogs for more inspiration.

My main objective for this one layered card was to show you guys the new glitter colors.  How'd I do? The hot pink color is the new Fuchsia Glitter. The middle grey color is the new Marcasite Glitter,  I thought it needed a little more... so I added some aquamarine glitter. I used a new border stamp from the Modern Borders Set. I must say I think this chevron stamp is one of my favorites!  An older but just as beautiful saying -- Birthday Blessings   was stamped in Versamark and embossed using white embossing powder. OH, and do you that DeNami sells the fabulous Glue Pad that you need for this technique?  Just take any stamp, tap it onto the glue pad, stamp on your cardstock, and sprinkle with glitter. DONE... yes, it is that easy!
Make sure to join us in this challenge!  You have the chance to win a DeNami Gift Certificate! Fun!!
